I am interested in Ecology and Evolution of Infectious Diseases, Population Ecology, and Biodiversity. My research focuses mainly on exploring underlying mechanisms of epidemic dynamics with modelling approach. Since Spring 2005, I've worked with professor Pejman Rohani in Rohani's Lab, in the Institute of Ecology, at the University of Georgia, USA. The project I'm working on now is to understand the role of deterministic and stochastic factors in shaping temporal and spatial patterns of pertussis dynamics. My graduate study is jointly sponsored by University of Georgia and Vietnam Education Foundation.
